What's included

We find and remove the malware, including hidden backdoors that let attackers back in. We change all passwords and security keys on the site. We lock down the site settings that attackers most often abuse. If Google has flagged your site, we clean it and then ask Google to review it. You get a short written report of what we found and what we fixed.

What we need from you

We need three logins: your WordPress admin, your hosting control panel (such as cPanel), and secure file access (SFTP). Database access usually comes through the hosting control panel. If we don't have working access within 48 hours of your order, we refund your payment in full and close the order.

What the flat rate covers

The $395 covers one WordPress site with a contained infection. Some jobs are bigger. Examples include sites that keep getting reinfected, sites that take credit card payments where card data may be exposed, and hosting accounts with several infected sites.

We check the scope within the first hour after we have access. If the job is bigger than the flat rate covers, we stop and tell you in writing. You can then take a full refund, or apply your $395 toward a fixed quote for the larger job. Once cleanup work begins, the refund option ends.

30-day reinfection guarantee

If the same site gets reinfected within 30 days, we clean it again at no charge. This guarantee does not cover reinfections caused by stolen or shared passwords, problems with your hosting company's servers, or plugins and themes added after our cleanup.

Timing

We start the same business day for orders received by 2 PM Mountain Time. Most cleanups finish within 1 to 2 business days. Google's review can take longer, and we can't control that timeline.

Keep it clean

Once your site is clean, our Care plan keeps it that way, starting at $99 a month. Care includes daily monitoring, updates, backups, an hour of site work each month, and one malware cleanup per year for any new infection that appears while you're on the plan. A site that is already infected needs this cleanup first, and then Care begins.
