Start here

Not sure what your site needs? Start with an audit.

We go through your WordPress site the way an attacker, a search engine and a frustrated customer would. You get a written fix list sorted into fix now, fix next and nice to have, so you decide what gets done and when. If you want a price on any item, just ask.

Many sites never need more than the fix list. If yours needs ongoing care, the audit tells us exactly which plan fits.

Monitoring and care plans

Most WordPress problems start small: a missed update, a plugin conflict, a backup that quietly stopped. These plans catch them early. Pick the level of hands-on help you want.

A few plain rules

Each extra site on the same plan adds $35 a month and shares the plan's hours. Extra time beyond your monthly hours runs $70 an hour on Care and $65 an hour on Care Plus. The yearly malware cleanup covers infections that appear after your plan starts. A site that is already infected gets the $395 cleanup first, and then Care begins.

What clients say

WordPress work, in their words

A 4.9 average across 124 reviews on Fiverr. Here are a few about WordPress work.

"Ernie took my out-of-date website and completely refreshed it. Great to work with him!"

Mary N. (msnovak)Website refresh, Fiverr

"He suggested that I do some MUCH NEEDED updating to my sites, which were using outdated plugins, old PHP etc. He carefully updated everything, cautiously looking for any breaks in how my site operated."

David E. (groovefunkel)Updates and maintenance, Fiverr

"Ernie did an excellent job identifying a problem with a WordPress plugin that was preventing some customers from completing an order on a WooCommerce site. This problem was beyond the scope/ken of the tech support at WP Engine. I got a detailed, well-written, easy-to-understand 3-page report... I appreciate that he kept the solution to whatever was the simplest choice... And he did it in 1/7 the time allotted for the work."

Pam N. (pneely)WooCommerce repair, Fiverr

"Very detail-oriented as well as flexible. Understood my needs and if didn't he always asked questions so he made sure to get it right. He stuck to his schedule and always kept me informed... My particular project was the rebuilding of a WordPress site."

Bill P. (bposneror)WordPress site rebuild, Fiverr

"He was able to fix all of my WordPress issues, and he was so kind as to (as requested) make a short recording of HOW he fixed those problems so that I would come away with a greater understanding of the product."

bmbarnesWordPress fixes, Fiverr

"Excellent, fast communication from start to finish on my project! He was able to quickly resolve a problem with Woo Commerce and my custom theme regarding a shipping issue. Will definitely come back for other related website work. Highly recommended!"

Common questions

WordPress services FAQs

Straight answers to the questions people ask Google most about WordPress help.

How much does WordPress maintenance cost?

Our plans start at $29 a month for the Monitoring Bundle, which covers security monitoring, updates, backups and uptime monitoring. Care is $99 a month and adds an hour of site work, a monthly report and next-business-day response. Care Plus is $239 a month with three hours of site work and same-day response on business days.

What does WordPress maintenance include?

At a minimum, maintenance means keeping WordPress, the theme and the plugins updated, taking backups, and watching the site for security problems and downtime. Our Care plans add hands-on help: time each month for site edits and fixes, broken link and sitemap checks, a look at Search Console issues, a monthly report, and one malware cleanup a year.

How often should WordPress be updated?

Security updates should go on as soon as practical, because attackers go after known holes in old versions. Theme and plugin updates matter just as much, since most WordPress hacks come in through an outdated plugin. Keeping all three updated is part of every plan on this page.

Is WordPress outdated in 2026?

No. WordPress is still actively developed and still runs a large share of the websites on the internet. The real risk is an outdated WordPress site: old plugins, an old PHP version and updates that stopped. That is exactly what an audit finds and a care plan prevents.

How much does it cost to hire a WordPress developer?

Our repair and project rate is $75 an hour, and you get a written quote before any work starts. Several common jobs have a set price: a WordPress Site Audit is $195, malware cleanup is a flat $395, and a Divi 5 migration is $245 for Guided or $495 for Professional.

Has my WordPress site been hacked?

Common signs are a Google or browser warning, visitors being sent to spam pages, pages in Google you never wrote, admin users you didn't create, or a warning from your host. If you see any of these, our WordPress malware cleanup is a flat $395, with a same-day start for orders received by 2 PM Mountain Time.

Can I do a website audit myself?

You can start with the free tools on this page, which show known vulnerabilities and what your site runs. A tool can't tell you what to fix first or what it will cost. Our $195 WordPress Site Audit gives you a written fix list, sorted into fix now, fix next and nice to have, within five business days.
